As Footprinters we share in the common goals of the entire organization helping where we can and supporting law enforcement. Like most other chapters we have our favorite charities. Ours are providing dental care for disadvantaged children, supporting child programs such as during Red Ribbon Week, and helping other chapters in their support of our Mexican law enforcement neighbors Part of the fun of being a Footprinter are the special events that we organize or participate in. These events help raise funds to support our charity projects. These events include our annual golf tournament, raffles, dinners, auctions, and a motorcycle charity run from Victorville to Primm, Nevada. In 2005 we started a Scholarship Program for High School Seniors who plan a career in Law Enforcement. We gave two $1,500 Scholarships to local seniors in May 2005 Other special events we host include honoring law enforcement personnel - especially the "invisible" but vital contributors to this effort. We hold three major activities to do this:
